The most commercially important boron minerals are; Tincal, Colemanite, Kernite, Ulexite, Pandermite, Borasite, Szaybelite and Hydroboracite. Boric acid is a weak acid of boron. Its chemical formula is written as H3BO3. It is found in water-soluble form as a white powder. Boric acid is obtained by reacting colemanite ore with sulfuric acid or borax with a mineral acid.
