ASOS Industrial Drying processes consist of; wet product feeding systems, main dryer system, systems where post-treatments such as cooling are applied to increase the storage characteristics of the product and processes applied to the gas phase leaving the dryer system (to ensure compliance with environmental regulations).

For dryer selection, drying processes are determined by considering the following characteristics of the product to be dried:

  • Chemical properties of the product,
  • Structural deterioration of the product,
  • Temperature zone of the product,
  • Thermal behavior characteristics of the product (TGA\DTA\DSC).
  • Product particle size ( m\cm),
  • Product shape (granule, crystal, mud etc…),
  • Product internal structure (porous or non-porous).

ASOS offers the following Drying Technologies to its customers according to the needs of the industries:

  • Fluid Bed Dryer
  • Belt Dryer
  • Spray Dryer
  • Flash Dryer
  • Rotary Dryer/Calcifier
  • Plate Type Cooler

Fluid Bed Dryer

In Fluid Bed Dryers fluidization is created by keeping the particles suspended by passing the pressurized air through the specially designed fan through the solid particles to be fluidized at high speed against the...

Belt Dryer

Belt Dryers ensures that the moist product is transported horizontally by means of steel pallets bedded on chains and dried with the hot air. Belt Dryers are generally used for wastewater treatment sludge, manure, s...

Spray Dryer

Spray Dryers are widely used in all kinds of industries. They have a wide application area especially in the chemical and food industries. It offers unique advantages while protecting dry materials from degradation....

Rotary Dryer/Calcinator

Although many new technologies have been developed, Rotary Dryers/Calcinators are still used in calcination and drying processes in many industries.

More

Flash Dryer

Flash dryers are preferred for continuous drying and developed for drying filter cakes and sludge-like products. They have application areas especially in the chemical, food and environmental industries.

Plate Cooler

Cooling of powder and granular products is a common process in many chemical processes. The final products must be cooled before storage or packaging in order to prevent problems such as caking.
